Overview

Arirang offers an authentic Korean dining experience in the heart of Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México. Nestled at Florencia 67, this restaurant brings the rich flavors of Korea to Mexico City with a refined touch that both locals and visitors can appreciate.

The main attraction here is the Korean BBQ, where premium cuts like chadolbaki (thinly sliced beef brisket) and spicy marinated pork ribs are grilled to perfection. The meticulous marination blends traditional soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and spices, creating a harmonious taste that resonates with fans of Korean cuisine. Complementing the meats is a variety of banchan — small side dishes such as kimchi, dubukimchi (tofu kimchi), and sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) — that enhance every bite and add layers of complexity to the meal.

For those seeking comforting soups, Arirang’s sundae guk, a slow-cooked blood sausage soup enriched with vegetables and served with rice, and galbitan, a richly flavored beef short rib soup, provide hearty, soulful options that showcase Korea’s culinary depth.

The atmosphere strikes a balance between contemporary and cozy. Cleanliness and attentive service stand out, with staff guiding guests expertly through the grilling process. The first-floor dining area offers convenience and a welcoming setting, while the well-designed ventilation ensures that smoke is discreetly managed, keeping the air fresh without sacrificing the BBQ experience.

Arirang appeals to a diverse audience—from Korean food enthusiasts and K-drama fans eager to indulge in familiar flavors, to newcomers drawn by the vibrant tastes and inviting atmosphere. Those looking to enjoy traditional soju alongside their meals will find the drink selection a perfect pairing to the smoky, savory dishes.

In summary, Arirang delivers a thorough and satisfying Korean BBQ adventure with an emphasis on authenticity and quality. Its location in a bustling neighborhood makes it accessible, and the combination of flavorful dishes, thoughtful service, and comfortable space ensures a memorable outing that honorably represents Korean culinary heritage in Mexico City.

I had a fantastic experience at Arirang Korean restaurant. We opted for the BBQ, and I must say the meats were delicious and perfectly marinated. The abundance of side dishes added to the delight of the meal. The service was top-notch, very professional, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. We chose to dine on the first floor, which was convenient. This place truly delivers an authentic Korean BBQ experience. Highly recommended

Superb Korean food in a lovely establishment. Depending on how much meat one will be cooking, they might bring out a separate propane stove and pan instead of using the grill which has charcoal beneath. They give lots of bancham options, the staff are really friendly, and it's an overall incredible time.

Very tasty, large portions with quality ingredients. Friendly waiters and nice music in the dining room. I was impressed how well the fans sucked up the smoke, so the restaurant did not smell smoky. I will definitely return.

Top notch and authentic Korean food. We enjoyed the BBQ; meats were well-marinated. However, we wished restaurant installed smoke extractors at the tables so that we don’t smell of fumes after the meal. Generous serving sizes

soups and noodle dishes. We kept it simple and got an order of the Galbi and Galbisal and really enjoyed the quality. The Ramen was good too and pretty straightforward. I really liked their Korean soup. I felt a little more adventurous and got the Morcilla (Blood Sausage) one and it was really hearty and full of flavor! Service was friendly and the vibe was clean and modern. Overall, good spot to check out in the Condesa area in CDMX!
